Carara examined her now wing-free back calmly.
She and the others were now adults, she knew, and they were all going to leave.
Rienna would make the portal to get them to the place they would live - the Deragonray of Enzan Shi - as she was the only one who knew where they were going.
Carara nudged Sevenda in the small of the back with a small smile,
"I hear the Deragonray has unwinged dragons too." She murmured soothingly,
"We'll join their ranks, no?"
Her bondmate looked up at her and stroked her nose absently,
"I know, Carara, everything will be fine." She answered.
"I still don't understand why the Deragonray is so.. divided." Aselera confided to Fiainn, flicking her tail as they watched Rienna perform her magic,
"I mean, it's one city but it has twenty leaders."
"It's a democracy, Aselera." He answered, keeping his eyes on his mate - for that was what Rienna was to him, even if he refused to admit it.
"It's rather silly." She countered with a smile,
"She'll be find, Fiainn, Yekarie will help her if she needs it."
He nodded, not relaxing one bit.
Aselera smirked and flicked her tail again.
Humans, they were such worry-warts...
Emeri smiled as she watched Laleli pace back and forth.
All the humans were nervous, and unnecessarily so.
If anything were to go wrong, Yekarie would break the magical flow and save Rienna.
They were all remembering what had happened before the bonding.
"History won't repeat itself this time, Laleli." The blue-toned Light informed her, walking up behind her bond and rubbing her cheek against the young woman's.
Kenreth rolled his eyes at Kedain's nervousness.
It got rather boring to have your bond be all tense for several hours.
He turned to Ladune and found that the other air was just as bored.
Kenreth smirked and bounced up to his companion.
"Tag! You're it!" He cried and ran off.
Gravo huffed slightly, his gaze locked on the slowly forming portal with considerable impatience.
He looked at Draudon and knew that his bond was getting just as impatient.
Gravo resisted the urge to pace and simply laid his head on the ground, watching.
Yekarie knew the others were getting impatient.
So was he.
He gently prodded Rienna's magic to go faster, which it did.
With his guidance, the portal formed quickly.
The daemon smiled slightly to himself as it solidified.
~Look.~ He called, ~Look at our new home.~
Yekarie could not feel happier for Rienna as the others congratulated her and passed through the huge portal - made large so as to allow the dragons to pass - to their home.
The daemon nudged her once the others had gone through.
~Go on, Rienna.~ He urged and gently pushed her through the portal.
Once on the other side, it was easy to deconstruct the portal due to Yekarie's magical aid.
They turned then to find a place teeming with draconic and gryphonic life, a hodge-podge of creatures from just about everywhere.
"Welcome to Enzan Shi's Deragonray," A young woman called, a bronze dragon looming protectively behind her,
"We've been expecting you."
